For Love Refused My Desperate Cries and I Shall Not Love Again
Hello my little space creatures. I'm here today with a minor poem for you. I was originally going to publish the fanfic I fabricated for this commencement, only I ran into some writer's cake on how things are going to play out. And then I wrote a verse form with like ideas, merely the fanfic will have a twist to it to proceed things fresh.
This is a poem, nonetheless the rhyme scheme is largely inconsistent. There is reasoning behind this, though. The reason for it is because sometimes it felt similar it wasn't correct for sure parts to rhyme, while others it felt like just the contrary. So please don't scratch your head at my failure to accept a consistent rhyme scheme. It will work, trust me.
Anyways I hope you lot all enjoy!
Edit: Thanks for the feature :)

He was ever drawn to the ocean,
But he was drawn to her much more than.
Perhaps it was her that drew him to the bounding main?
Maybe it was the beauty that her and the ocean held?
He loved the ocean every bit he loved her.
During the day he walked amongst the city lights,
At nighttime he skipped forth the sand.
She danced amidst the waves,
Longing to concur his hand.
The stars twinkled higher up,
The moon shining its light to illuminate their way.
The waves swept forth the shore,
Dreaming of that lovely day . . .
When they could finally exist together.
She sat on the rock with her long raven pilus,
Clasping her easily to her heart and then releasing them in the air.
If she could give him a piece of her soul so their fate may go a unlike path,
She would accept done it without wasting a single breath.
But instead, she sings.
"Total fathom 5
My heart lies,
Beneath the murky seas.
For honey refused my desperate cries,
My spirit securely grieves.
My spirit securely grieves . . ."
She cries out to the heavens,
Cries out to the stars.
"Cipher will e'er tear this love apart!"
But a creature of the bounding main and a creature of the land,
Are not meant to walk manus in mitt.
He prays to the Heavens,
He calls the stars past name.
"Oh great being above,
Please salve me of this eternal pain!"
For he wanted to feel his honey's gentle buss on his face up,
Without their great differences getting in the fashion.
He wants to give her a piece of his soul,
But instead he opened his oral cavity and poured it all out.
"One time we sailed beneath the sun,
Where seabirds took their fly.
Merely at present our love has come undone,
My joy no longer sings.
My joy no longer sings . . ."
He cries an ocean of his devotion and laughs at the irony,
While she cries silent tears of her ain emotion and wishes she could alter their destiny.
Their hearts beat together but their lungs aren't in sync,
His wanting air and hers wanting to drink.
As she sits on her stone and cries for their love,
The stars seem to panel her from above.
"Do non cry little one for there are amend things in store!"
Simply she inappreciably believes them anymore.
They separated her and her lover without hesitation,
Tearing up the remains of their elation.
He sits past the body of water'south edge a short ways from the shore,
The Heavens separate open up as the rain starts to cascade.
Through the heavy sleet,
He sees her on her rock and continues to weep.
Spreading her hands and looking to the sky,
Her mouth is open up in a silent cry.
He reaches for her to share her pain,
And she turns to grasp his hand from across the terrain.
With the ghost of his name confronting her lips,
The forbidden lovers share a concluding kiss.
The wind swirls the waves in thunderous swings,
While the lovers open their mouths and begin to sing.
"Full fathom five
My eye lies,
My sorrow has no end.
For love refused my desperate cries,
And I shall not honey over again.
And I shall not love again . . ."
Although their love was strong equally could exist,
The country was not meant to be one with the sea.

In that location is a human boy and a beautiful mermaid. You can imagine them as anyone from the evidence, simply I of course imagine Adrienette. They are deeply in beloved, but because of their differences are unable to be together. I think it's a beautiful concept and I tin can't wait to develop it more in the future.
3 parts of the poem had song lyrics. Those don't belong to me. They belong to Joseph M. Martin I believe. Hither is the YouTube video link to the song in case you would similar to heed to it: The Mermaid'due south Lament.
As always, cheers for reading. And thanks for all the lovely support on my last PSA, I was and so amazed to see that and so many people cared about our amazing team. So thank you!
Stay Miraculous,
